Start your morning by grooming and saddling your horse in preparation for your ride. Head out with your guide and explore our beautiful ‘backyard’. Trek through native bush and massive pine plantations up to our famous lookout. Ride down from the lookout to cross and swim with your horses in the Waimarino River before heading back to base to untack and groom your horses. At base, finish the day with a special lunch on us. This trek is suitable to most abilities, from confident beginner through to experienced riders. Our trek is at a walking pace, if you are an experienced rider looking for the thrill of going at a fast-pace and the ability to canter through the beautiful forest, make sure you book in for our Need for Speed variation.
