Day tours are approximately 6-7 hours long and operate from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Minimum Age: 13 years. Our standard kayaks in our fleet will take most paddlers pretty well. However, if you weigh over 120kg please let us know so we can make sure that we can best accommodate you with a comfortable time while on tour with us.
By paying, you agree to the terms and conditions: Up to 48 hours before departure time – 100% Refund Within 24 – 48 hours before departure time – 50% refund Within 24 hours of departure or after departure time – No Refund Customers will also receive a full refund or credit in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. What awaits you: A sea kayak crossing from Whangaparāoa to the island, expert guidance, paddling tips, and all safety gear provided. A beach landing on Tiritiri Matangi, followed by free time to explore the island’s birdlife, lighthouse, walking tracks, and breathtaking views. A paddle back across the Gulf – with luck, you may spot dolphins or penguins on the way home. Family-friendly fun.
