Morning/Afternoon tea included in 2 hour trips. 1 hour sunrise and sunset trips, 2hr trips at 10am and 3pm and 1hr trip at 1.30pm. Can be flexible. We only have 2 double kayaks so only 2 children under 12 can be on one trip, unless the children are experienced enough to kayak solo. Group sizes are a maximum of 8 with 1 guide. We need minimum of 2 to run a trip. Trips only run during the summer season, Oct – April, Wednesday-Sunday, subject to guide availability. Please contact us.
Come explore the head of Lake Whakatipu with our experienced guide, starting from where the Dart River meets the lake, surrounded by mountains the whole time. We offer 1 hour and 2 hour trips and can customise trips to suit your needs. All required equipment is provided by Kayak Kinloch; shortie wetsuits, spray jackets, and life jackets are also available. You will have a choice of single or double kayaks so those with less experience are welcome to join. Delicious morning or afternoon refreshments are provided for our 2 hour trips. Why not complete the experience at our restaurant, Wai spa & sauna area or by staying overnight in one of our accommodation options at Kinloch Wilderness Retreat.
