No experience is need. We take time to teach you to ride. It's important that you're agile and able to step on & off the Segway with ease. Wear comfortable flat shoes. Helmets are provided. Over 13 year olds can go on this tour. For technical reasons the Segway Personal Transporter has a weight restriction between 45 (100lbs) – 120kg (265lbs). Our primary concern is to give you a safe & enjoyable tour. Therefore the route and extent of tour participation is at the discretion of the tour guide.
Tours are cancelled and refunds given only in extreme weather conditions. Tours proceed if it is only light intermittent rain. Cancellation for any other reasons must be received 24 hours before the tour commences.
You’ll glide effortlessly on your Segway to the summit of this volcanic cone where the 360 degree views back to the city and out to the Hauraki Gulf are spectacular. This 2 hour Auckland Segway tour includes interesting commentary about the history of the village and the secrets of the vibrant mushroom field and the ‘Disappearing Gun’ at the summit.
