Backpackers lodge built around an indoor rock climbing hall, great views of the 3 volcanoes in the Central North Island (Mt Tongariro, Mt Ngauruhoe and Mt Ruapehu) right from our doorstep. All year destination: hiking in summer. We have our own bus transport to the famous Tongariro Alpine Crossing and Whakapapa Village, which is the gateway to Tongariro Northern Circuit. In winter our guests enjoy snowsports such as skiing, snowboarding, or even just a play in the snow, in the nearby Whakapapa and Turoa ski fields. We offer a wide range of accommodation options from basic backpacker dorm beds to private double rooms with ensuite bathrooms, something for everyone's budget. Online bookings preferred.
