Ribbonwood Country House in Cheviot and boasts panoramic 180 degree views of North Canterbury looking towards the Waiau river and Kaikoura mountains. We are approximately 120km north of Christchurch (approx 1 hr 20 mins) and approximately a 1 hour drive south of Kaikoura. Hanmer Springs is also an easy 1 hr 15 mins which is perfect for a day trip. Our purpose built guest house is designed to pamper you in every way. We have four guest rooms all furnished with comfortable beds, fixtures and fittings and each has their own ensuite. Breakfast is included in room rate and a cooked breakfast is available on request (additional charges apply). Nearby Gore Bay is a relaxing excursion on a warm day.
