Join fellow walkers for a 15-minute trailer ride from the Patuna homestead along the farm track to the trail head where you will guide yourself and walk amongst regenerating native bush before entering the stunning chasm, walk along the Ruakokopatuna river where you will see limestone caves, rock formations, beautiful moss lined waterfalls and the local tuna (native eels). Get yourself wet exploring the chasm and be amazed how the sunlight from above lights up the millions of years-old limestone walls. Be adventurous and choose the optional swim out through the river, to the pick-up point where your transport will take you back to the Homestead.
