From the kitchen looking towards the lounge/TV area. We have a TV, Chrome cast, wifi and lots of DVDs. And plenty of books and magazines, if you can take your eyes off the view that is.

The bedroom, looking through the open shutters into the lounge and to the view beyond. If you wake early enough you may be treated to an amazing sunrise.
There are a lot of steps up to the apartment so you need a level of fitness to get to the top. Sadly it is not able to be made wheelchair friendly.
If you get up early enough, you may catch a sunrise like this, if you are lucky.

Enjoy our newly renovated, one bedroom apartment with superb views overlooking the lake & the town beyond to Mount Tauhara. Our guests love it. Whether its a romantic weekend for two or a base for your adrenalin packed holiday around the central plateau, you will find our cosy cottage an ideal base. The great views also mean a bit of a climb. We have 33 steps up to our door. If you have mobility needs please check the photos before booking. The lake edge is a mere 20 metres from our driveway, with a 3 minute walk the other direction to our local bar and brasserie, where you will find great food in a relaxing setting. You may like to sit on our deck and watch the activity on the lake; sailing boats and the paraglider rides.
