At Mandeville there is plenty to capture your interest. The main focus, is the Croydon Aviation Heritage Centre, which houses a wonderful collection of aircraft. There is a significant collection of de Havilland aircraft. A highlight for this collection is the aircraft are kept in an airworthy state, with a number regularly flying at Mandeville. To enquire about flights simply contact us. Within the Heritage Centre is this also an a Gift Shop along with an Art Exhibition area, which is used to highlight Artists from the Southland region. During the Summer, Waimea Plains Railway operate their Steam Train on their developing railway line
adjacent to the Heritage Centre.
