Family-owned and organically farmed, Black Estate is home to three hillside vineyards in the heart of North Canterbury. We craft wines that speak clearly of where it comes from - our soils, seasons, and people. Visit our beautiful cellar door and two-hatted restaurant and enjoy our wines with food that’s local, organic and full of life. Tastings are relaxed and informative. Open seven days in summer for tastings, and Thursday to Monday for lunch, 10am–4pm. Dogs and bicycles welcome. Also see our B & B to stay. During summer, we also host private tours and tastings at our Netherwood vineyard - a special behind-the-scenes experience for those curious to learn more.
