Fiordland Eco-Retreat's Guest Suite is within the right-hand 'wing' of the house. It's a fully self-contained suite, with its own access, and is located just 6km from Te Anau township.
The Guest Suite's bedroom has a super-king sized bed with quality linen and pillows. Stunning panoramic views to the north and east allow glorious morning light to flood the Master bedroom when the black-out curtains/blinds are not in use. Ducted heating
Kitchenette & Dining Room: Practical with a walk-in pantry, microwave-sized convection oven, plug-in electric cooktops, fridge & ice box, kettle, sink, tea / hot chocolate, espresso coffee machine, toaster and cooking utensils/pots.
Morning light floods the elegant main bathroom with gorgeous easterly views, huge shower and a glorious deep bath.
The Guest Suite is connected to our family home yet remains completely private. The Eco-Villas are situated separately, further up the hill.
Optional Stargazing Experience run onsite by Fiordland Stargazing. Maximum 6 people per tour.

Check-in: 4pm | Check-out: 10am | Minimum stay: 2 nights. Not suitable for pets. No smoking, parties or events please. The Eco-Retreat's Guest Suite is a self-contained unit adjoining our family home, where we live with our two children and dog. There is therefore the potential for some noise. The Eco-Villas are in a private, secluded area, and are intended for adults-only. The number of occupants shall not exceed the number agreed with us in advance of your stay.
15+ days prior to arrival: Full refund, minus any credit card processing fees (~3%) plus a $25 NZD admin fee. 0-14 days prior to arrival: Your payment will be retained. We highly recommend that guests purchase travel insurance at the time of booking, to cover any unexpected events that may affect their travel.
3 units = 2 x 50m2 Eco-Villas plus 1 x 50m2 Guest Suite. Furnished with modern amenities, the Eco-Retreat was built with sustainability at the forefront of its design. Solar panels power the accommodation / hot tub, and guests enjoy filtered Fiordland rainwater, unlimited WIFI, BBQ and Netflix. All three units also have: super-king bed (Eco-Villas have large stargazing window above), black-out blinds, private hot tub, kitchenette, heating/AC and shared access to sauna (next to Eco-Villas). Watch the fiery sunset behind the Kepler Mountains, followed be a truly magnificent night sky - best enjoyed from the hot tub. This is the perfect base from which to explore Fiordland and its many wonderful activities, including Milford & Doubtful Sound.
