All rates are based on two person occupancy. Extra person surcharge is charged at a rate of $20.00 per person per night.
We require 48 hours’ notice prior to the date of arrival for all motel cancellations. Failure to cancel within the specified notice period will result in one night’s accommodation being charged to the credit card held in our system for this booking. If you fail to arrive for your booking you will be charged one night’s accommodation. If your booking was for more than 3 days and you fail to arrive you will be charged 50% of the total booking amount.
We offer 15 comfortable ensuite rooms including a fully accessible wheelchair unit. The motel is within easy walking distance of the town's cafés, restaurants and shops, and is just 5 minutes away from one of New Zealand's must-play golf courses, the Tarrangower, Taumarunui. Book to stay the night before or after your experience with Forgotten World Adventures for comfort and convenience. We are also well situated for wider exploration of the Ruapehu region including Mount Ruapehu, the Whakapapa ski fields and Lake Taupō. Other popular nearby activities include walking the Tongariro Crossing, exploring the National Park, canoeing the Whanganui River and cycling the Timber Trail.
