Our tours frequently sell out, particularly during peak season (Oct-April). We strongly recommend booking in advance online. Photography is strictly prohibited whilst in our tour spaces. Sorry, there is no luggage storage in the Wētā Cave or within our tour spaces.

With daily tours departing from the city centre, sit back, relax & enjoy stunning harbour views, insider stories of film and creativity & even spot the iconic Wellywood sign on the way to our creative home in Miramar. Take our 90-minute guided tour, then while you’re here, you’ll have ample time to visit the Wētā Cave, a favourite destination for film enthusiasts guarded by our Cave Trolls. Then finally, enjoy a delicious lunch on the waterfront at Wellington-favourite, Karaka Café, as part of your half-day experience. End your half-day tour with a two-course lunch at Karaka Café, featuring local New Zealand dishes (including vegan).
