A camping ground to relax in. Beware Kawhia's laid back ambiance is easy to get caught up in. Ocean Beach, where the Te Puia Hot Springs seep through the black sands, is just up the road. Free shovels are provided to guests for digging your own hot pool right on the edge of a rugged but scenic west coast beach. The holiday park has plenty of play equipment to keep the children busy while parents can relax in the shade of the trees. Overseas and Kiwi travellers are very welcome - we pride ourselves in not only making your stay enjoyable but helping you to plan your sightseeing for the next stage of your journey. We have power sites, cabins and provide full facilities including free WIFI, showers, BBQ, fish cleaning area and a smoker.
