Terms and Conditions: Guest Check In / Check Out: Check-in time: 2:00pm to onwards. Check out time is 10am. Please let us know if you need to check-in after hours. We are happy to accommodate late check-in but we need to be informed 24-48 hours prior to arrival. For directions please use the map on our website. Additional guests will be charged $35 per night with full paying customers.
Date changes to booking is permitted. Any difference in room rate is payable. Free cancellation up to 72 hours prior to 2pm on the day of arrival. Cancellations within 48-72 hours prior to 2pm on the day of arrival will incur a cancellation fee equivalent to 50% of the room cost as booked. Cancellations thereafter or no shows will incur a cancellation fee equivalent of to 100% of the room cost as booked. No penalty due if Covid causes a government sanctioned travel ban or roads are closed.
Lake Matheson Motel offers peaceful, newly renovated accommodation with views of Aoraki Mt Cook, only 400 metres from the main street of Fox Glacier town centre. Each room has electric blankets and new Smart TV's. Situated on the West Coast highway and accessible by car or bus, Lake Matheson Motel is just 8-minute drive from Lake Matheson. It is a 20-minute drive to the Glacier Hot Pools and West Coast Wildlife Centre. All studios and apartments at Lake Matheson Motel Fox Glacier include covered car parking, free WIFI, heating, hairdryers and cooking facilities. Some have a private spa bath. Guests have access to a garden with outdoor seating. Facilities include a guest laundry and picnic area.
