Please bring a towel, a change of warm clothing, and sunscreen. We encourage you to bring a wetsuit if you have one that fits appropriately; if not please let us know beforehand and we will arrange one for you. Without a wetsuit you may quickly get cold and have to return to shore. Under New Zealand Maritime rules you will be the “master of vessel” while on your eFoil, so cannot be intoxicated or under the influence of drugs.
If you are unsure of your schedule, please just contact us at info@atomicev.co.nz to discuss before making your reservation. Once the reservation is made it can be cancelled by you with at least 48 hours notice, less a 5% payment processing fee. Of course the weather may have other plans, so the trainer will be in touch if the lesson may need to be rescheduled. If no alternative date can be found that fits your schedule the reservation will be fully refunded.
We will teach you essential tips and techniques, maintaining balance throughout your ride, executing smooth carving turns, engaging in races, enjoying leisurely cruising, and safely returning to land. We offer an extensive range of Ride Spot locations around the Auckland region, depending on your experience and interests, and whether you’d like to combine your hydrofoiler bike experience into a larger package in a stunning location. One of our trainers will contact you directly once you place your reservation, and will discuss your prior experience, interests, and any date restrictions you may have for the lesson. The trainer will then arrange the bikes and coordinate the location, date and time directly with you.
