Muriwai Beach Campground is a large spacious campground adjacent to the 60km long Muriwai Beach and set within the 380 hectare Muriwai Regional Park.
There are a range of activities available for the traveler in and around Muriwai e,g the Gannet Colony where 1000's of birds nest from August to March each year there is also mountain biking, golfing, hiking and horse riding.
The campground has undergone an extensive upgrade to include a host of new facilities. There are new fully equipped kitchen and shower blocks, toilets and additional accessible toilet/shower facilities.
We have 67 powered sites and 66 unpowered sites and 9 cabins. The campground is only 40 minutes drive from central Auckland and 1 hour from Auckland Airport
