Mystery Picnics are completed - rain, hail or shine, please check the weather forecast. Cancellations with a full refund (minus $25 admin fee) can only be made with a minimum of 5 days' notice. Postponement is accepted with a minimum 3 days' notice with no charge. Postponement within 48hours of notice will incur a $40 fee.

Spend your next date or venture outside the city, discovering more about not only your friend/partner but also about the beautiful Matakana Coast region. Start with a "base" picnic hamper & let us guide you on a journey to discover local artisan producers by solving clues and riddles along the way. At each stop you will stop and admire the scenery and/or collect delicious, gourmet picnic food to enjoy at your final destination.
What's involved:. Meet at Village Picnic Headquarters.. You will be greeted by Village Picnic & given a map and clues for the day. Includes picnic to share, wine tasting optional (additional charge). Available 7 days (subject to availability).
