Join our half-day (4-hour) Nourishing Nature experience in the stunning Waitakare Ranges. Visit a ‘native forest farm’ supplying traditional native plant ingredients to Auckland’s top restaurants. Forage herbs and plants under expert guidance, explore their taste profiles, and learn how reforesting native bush supports New Zealand’s biodiversity. After harvesting, savor the unique flavors of these traditional foods paired with artisan cheeses, meats, and breads in a beautiful open-air glasshouse. Enjoy herbaceous drinks and open-fire cooking while listening to native birds and learning about local customs. Conclude by planting a native sapling, grown from seed at The Hotel Britomart’s sister property, The Landing.
