Sailing trips depart from the Yacht Club in down-town Whakatane. A short cruise through the Whakatane harbour, and we're hoisting sail in the open coastline off Kohi Point. Take the wheel, hands-on or hands-off sailing, the choice is yours. Our glorious wildlife reserve Moutohora Whale Island is within easy reach, providing Department of Conservation approved beach landing opportunities and time-out at anchor for swimming and relaxing. Timing and trip formats are tailored to suit the group and the day's weather conditions.
