Lounge looking north back towards dinning room and kitchen. The trout on the wall were caught out in the lake; and when you catch some, I'll wet smoke them for you, yummy.
Breakfast is served and sure to "fill your boots" tea,coffee, filtered and chilled water is always available in the kitchen.
Sheltered behind the home and looking north through Ted's garden; the sun rises here and sets over the Lake behind.
The beautiful gardens gifted by Ted Smyth to our family; and incorporate the open courtyard, covered conservatory, and Summerhouse; which lead upto the thatch umbrella and rear garden, and vege garden.
Under the thatch umbrella; the coolest part of the property, where you are surrounded by the local wildlife.
With commanding south facing views of the township across Lake Taupo to the Mountains of the UNESCO dual World Heritage National Park, Kaimaniwa Ranges and beyond. This deck also connects and shares the views with the lounge and dining rooms

The Lake Room listing is for a private room and was the original master bedroom with ensuite. It has private access to the front deck and thermal bath; with commanding south facing views of the township across Lake Taupo to the mountains of the UNESCO dual World Heritage National Park, Kaimaniwa Ranges and beyond. This deck also connects and shares the views with the lounge and dining rooms. A continental breakfast is also included. Sleeps 2, Lake view, private access to thermal bath, private ensuite with shower and geothermal heated radiators.
