The beautiful gardens gifted by Ted Smyth to our family; and incorporate the open courtyard, covered conservatory, and Summerhouse; which lead upto the thatch umbrella and rear garden, and vege garden.
After a day out relax with a soak in the thermal bath and take in the stunning views out over Lake Taupo.

The Smyth Wing offers exclusive use of this wing comprising the three rooms: Garden, Courtyard and Kimberley; and uses the main bathroom with fresh-water bath, and separate toilet. The beautifully established north facing gardens (towards Mt Tauhara) shelter behind the home, and include an upper deck and genuine African thatch umbrella, above a covered conservatory with a BBQ and an open courtyard area; surrounding the rooms and kitchen. This area backs onto the lounge which has access to the dining room, front deck and thermal bath, and those glorious ever-changing views across the moana. Sleeps upto 6 guests, geothermal radiators, laundry/dry-cleaning available and bathroom has shower & bath. Free parking & continental breakfast.
