Eco cups are available, with water stations along the walk. Sun cream and hand sanitiser are available to use. Mask/s available if needed. The walk is on sealed surfaces, mostly flat. Where there are a few steps, there is a ramp alternative for easy access.
This experience will run in all but the most extreme weather. For a full refund, 24 hours notice in advance of the start date of the experience must be given. If Sunny Nelson Tours cancel due to extreme weather conditions, you will be offered a different date or a full refund.
A 1.5 - 2 hour walk, showing you the highlights of central Nelson - a taster. Guided by a local Nelsonian, highlights include a visit to Lord of the Rings ring-maker Jens Hansen, Nelson Cathedral, the Centre of New Zealand view, along with the stunning beauty of The Queens Gardens, the Maitai River Walk, Nelson Provincial Museum and The Suter Art Gallery. Along the walk you see fabulous examples of Art Deco, Victorian and modern architecture, and sculptures that you'll discover as we meander through our extraordinary city.
