All trips are 'weather dependent' for your saftey. You may book for your 'covid bubble' only and I will not book others to travel with you. Pricing differential applies to those who wish to supply their own food and bedding. Children under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Booking must be accompanied by a $50 non-refundable deposit. Full payment must be made at least one week ahead of departure and if cancelled by the client after this a maximum of 50 % will be refunded. Full refund or another booking will made if your trip is cancelled due to weather or other unavoidable event. Cancellation by Fiordland Unexplored will only occur when your safety is at risk.
The world of the High country musterer/shepherd, as it was, is all but gone. Top Beat trails takes you on the muster, the Top Beat, that the shepherd walked over this amazing expansive and beautiful landscape. Offering an authentic experience that provides all food and accommodation for 3 days (two nights) Top beat trails will guide you over the high ridges, clear streams and wonderous views of Southlands Tussock covered hills. Catering for a maximum of four at a time you can be assured of personal attention and an experience tailored to your ability and needs. Accommodation is rustic but comfortable and your guide is the real deal backcountry gentleman, shepherd, hunter and kiwi bloke. A reasonable level of fitness is required.
