Trips cancelled within 6 weeks of trip commencement will incur a non refundable deposit. Trips cancelled more than 6 weeks prior to trip commencement incur a refund of 90% of the deposit amount. Leaving 10% of the deposit to cover admin fees etc. TNZAC reserves the right to cancel outdoor adventures under severe weather conditions where client safety and comfort is an issue. In the case of a trip being cancelled by the guide your deposit will be 50% refunded.
You will experience majestic alpine vistas as well viewing the workings of a high country farm in action. Your host will share stories and history of the area whilst showing you the most stunning locations the Wanaka area has on offer. You will be taught by your host how to prepare and cook wild foods like shellfish and salt water species native to New Zealand, fresh water fish, wild game like venison, Tahr and wild pork. Your main flavours will be accompanied by fresh salads and vegetable dishes sourced and made from local produce, with a bottle of our finest local wine to finish off the wild flavour experience. This is the perfect way to spend the day whilst in the Wanaka area.
