Meet your Wilderness Guide at our waterfront office before stepping aboard the water taxi. We take a boat cruise this morning on a beautiful voyage out to Motuara Island, a protected bird sanctuary to spend 1.5 hours exploring. After our visit here, the next water taxi will take us across to Ship Cove, where your guides will explain the rich mythology and early Māori-European history at this beautiful location. Enjoy a the next 7km walk through stunning native coastal rainforest, over the saddle before descending into Resolution Bay. Enjoy a fresh lunch on track with great views over the water and a hot drink supplied by your guide. This day is regarded as the premier section of the Queen Charlotte Track.
