Full-Day and Half-Day options of this ride are also available. Wineries will not serve alcohol to anyone under the age of 18. Passport ID is required if you are not from New Zealand.
The Operator reserves the absolute right to cancel any service as a result of weather conditions, insufficient reservations or any other unforeseen circumstance. The Operator also reserves the right to assess cancellations on a case by case basis, any decision on refunds is entirely at their discretion.
This 3/4 Day ride starts with a scheduled bus transfer from Queenstown out to Arrow Junction. Here we'll fit you to a bike (or E-bike) and provide a winery map for navigation. You'll ride 7 kms along a scenic easy-riding trail, following the beautiful Arrow and Kawarau Rivers, to the Kawarau Suspension Bridge - home of the world's first bungy jump. From here spend the afternoon biking between the cellar doors of the Gibbston Valley, visiting as many as you want that are linked by the bike trail, covering a further 10 kms. Enjoy a relaxed lunch en-route and taste the signature grape of the region: pinot noir. The scheduled return bus transfer will collected you from a winery of choice to deliver you back to Queenstown.
