As is the nature with the food industry we endeavour to take you to the places offering the best fresh and local produce in season. This means that the tour itinerary will change but we guarantee the number of tastings on each tour will be at least the number quoted and often more. Changes made by operators of shops, factories and activities we visit are outside our control but we will endeavour to minimise any disruptions of this type which may occur. eg. some places are closed on weekends.
Cancellation at least 14 days prior to departure, 100% refund, less $20 per person admin fee. Cancellation between 14 and 7 days prior to departure. 50% refund. Cancellation less than 7 days prior to departure no refund. In some circumstances we may be able to reschedule your tour, please talk to us about this and we will see what we can do to help. An administration fee of $100 will be payable to reschedule a private tour once it has been booked. If Taste of Plenty cancels your booked tour
Our 'Starter' tour is the base tour which gives you a great introduction to the talented foodies in the Tauranga and Mount Maunganui areas. A small group tour of between 6 to 14 people we allow 3 to 4 hours for the experience. Fully guided in an air conditioned vehicle we travel comfortably between visits.
With a minimum of 5 tasting visits you might taste sourdough, local cheeses, olive oils, kiwi fruit, avocados, smoked meats, manuka honey, gelato, seasonal fruits and more.
