Cardrona Winter Sightseeing Pass entitles you to one return ride on the McDougall's Chondola - without time restrictions. Gondola rides run dependent on weather conditions. Kids under 6 and seniors over 75yrs sightsee for free. Simply add a card to your cart to collect at a pick-up kiosk, or pop in and collect one at the mountain.

We know that not everyone who comes on a New Zealand winter holiday is here to ski or snowboard. At Cardrona, we offer different options for our guests who aren’t skiers or snowboarders, or just want to take a break and try something different. Sightseeing - McDougall’s Express Chondola is the perfect way to see the mountain on foot. We have 10 gondola cabins on the 'combined' lift of gondola cabins and chairs, to get you headed to the top of the mountain in comfort and style. There's plenty of white stuff up here for snowman building with a photo-worthy backdrop. Dining - with 6 distinctly different on-mountain cafés and restaurants accessible by foot from our Base Area, there is something for every tastebud at Cardrona.
