Quirky acts as agent for the campervan owner. Pay a 20% non-refundable deposit to confirm your booking; the balance is due 4 weeks before your trip. You'll choose an insurance 'Protection Plan' (Ready, Relaxed or Carefree), which sets your excess and security deposit. Bookings include unlimited kilometres, insurance and breakdown cover. The 20% deposit is non-refundable (unless a replacement booking can be found for your dates). Cancel more than 4 weeks before your trip and we'll refund the remaining fee (if already paid). Rubi's interior feels like a natural oasis, with houseplants, fern prints and pictures of beautiful New Zealand landscapes adding to the homely vibe. With an internal height of 1.85 metres, even taller travellers can stand comfortably, and the cleverly concealed fixed toilet stays out of sight when not needed. The kitchen is a foodie's dream, with a three-burner gas stove, a coverable sink and all the essentials. Snuggly nights are her speciality: wool insulation, a convertible king-size bed, a diesel heater, fabric blinds and ambient lighting promise the best sleep. Freedom-camping compliant, with a three-day minimum hire (seven over summer).
