This tour needs a minimum of 2 people booked in to operate. Accompanying Guide FOC, 2 Adults Minimum. Not suitable for children under 8 years. Tour subject to snow and weather conditions.
Less then 24 hours or no show, 100% charge. More than 24 hours cancellation will receive a full refund. In case of bad weather, the duration and content of some tours may alter. In such cases Eco Adventures Wānaka will offer their clients the best service possible. Where possible we will offer alternate tour dates or a full refund if this is not possible.
Just a 1 hour scenic drive from Wānaka is the beautiful World Heritage site of Mt Aspiring National Park – within the park is the Rob Roy Glacier. Your 4-hour guided return walk takes you across swing bridges, through native beech rainforest, along rivers and out into valleys where you can view waterfalls & the magnificent Rob Roy hanging glacier. Here we stop for lunch and refreshments (provided) with stunning views all around, before walking back out to our shuttle. On the scenic drive back, there are many photo opportunities your guides will highlight for you.
