The Tamatea/Dusky Sound restoration plan has been developed by DOC with the ambitious goal of eradicating pests, re-introducing missing species and filling biodiversity information gaps in the area. We will spend at least a day & a half dedicated to the project - with monitoring, maintenance and installation of traps and hopefully in the future, relocations or endangered species.
