eBike upgrade - $60pp, – Family (2 x adults, 2 x children) $399pp
Distance: 26kms: Grade 2/easy to Grade 3/intermediate (on-road sections are Grade 3/intermediate). Availability: Yearly (with the exclusion of Christmas Day). Inclusions: Cycle equipment which includes trail comfort bike, helmet, repair kit, odometer, and trail map. Kiwi Journeys water bottle. Guided Hokitika Gorge walk. Transport: Hokitika - Hokitika Gorge - Dorothy Falls.

At 9.00am its off to the Hokitika Gorge. After a 30-minute drive to the carpark, there is a short walk through lush native bush to the rocky gorge, where you witness the calm turquoise blue water from the incredible viewing platforms. The water must be seen to be believed. After the amazing Gorge experience, it’s off to Dorothy Falls (30-minute drive) & time to climb on your bikes. A beautiful 5km ride amongst native bush, around the edge of Lake Kaniere to Hans Bay, which is a fantastic location for a lunch break. You will also capture some incredible photos here. Enter another stand of native bush and meander along the historic Kaniere Water Race, this is amazing. Kaniere Tram Road will lead you back to Hokitika ending a memorable day.
