In season as part of your tour, you will have the opportunity to see how the grapes are grown and why they are planted on the areas they are.
A drive out onto the world famous Gimblett Gravels to tase from Gimblett producers. This area is considered the best location in New Zealand to grow grapes. You will discover why and the history of this area on your tour.

You must be 18 years of age to partake in any alcoholic beverages in New Zealand. If you appear to be 25 or under by any company rep that may be serving you on the day, they may ask for your official ID. (passport, NZ drivers licence and other forms). With that said, most ages welcomed, please enquire.
Cancellations made more than 28 days in advance of your tour date, no fee applies. Cancellations between 28 and 11 days will incur a 50% fee. 10 days and less, will incur a 100% fee. This also applies to “no shows” on the day. We understand that cancellations may at times be unavoidable, we highly recommend you purchase adequate travel insurance. No refunds within 10 days of the booked tour date. Covid-19 has changed some areas around this, we are open to a discussion if less than 10 days.
Your half day Hawke's Bay Wine Experience, commences at 11.30 am and will finish between 5.00 pm and 5.30 pm. You will travel out on to the world famous 'Gimblett Gravels' - learn all about this region, and taste flights of wines at 4 very different wineries. Wineries visited will range from exceedingly small boutique wineries to larger well-established wineries. Our aim is for you to experience what this top wine producing region is famous for, mostly red wines and excellent Chardonnays. You will of course taste many other varieties on the day. Your tour is complimented with a cheese board or platter at one winery, complimentary chilled bottled water and souvenirs given out on the day. Pick up and drop off within Napier is included in you
