We reserve the right to cancel reservations should the weather be unsuitable on the day and we will endeavour to only postpone to a later time should we feel a later weather clearance is imminent. When the weather is exceptionally unpleasant flights will be cancelled for the day and a following day departure time may be offered. The Haast region is well known for hunting in New Zealand offering unique opportunities for red deer, chamois, and tahr - sought after trophies in the hunting world, as well as access to the best scenic flights to Milford Sound.
Either enjoy a 30 minute stop at Milford Sound to enjoy the magnificent scenery or take a 90 minute cruise while your pilot and helicopter wait for you before returning to Haast via the Coastline or Mountain vistas, including Mount Aspiring. We can also offer fishing packages to remote river sites for that elusive brown trout.
