In the event of extreme adverse weather conditions a visit to the Museum of New Zealand-Te Papa Tongarewa or a tour of Parliament Buildings can be arranged in lieu of extreme adverse weather conditions. An average level of fitness is required to view the Massey Memorial and Ataturk Memorial. Parts of the itinerary are not suitable for wheel chairs and walkers.
Cancellations by customers of confirmed bookings + 48 hours before tour commencement will be refunded in full. Cancellations by customers of confirmed bookings 24-48 hours before tour commencement will receive a 75% refund. Cancellations by customers of confirmed bookings < 24 hours before tour commencement will receive a 25% refund. No shows / no communication = no refund.
Enjoy a 7 hour private tour capturing the best of Wellington. Drive by the very picturesque Oriental Bay as you head to Wellington's spectacular look out point - Matairangi Mt Victoria. Your scenic drive then takes you onto the Miramar Peninsula where you visit the Weta Cave and Workshop, the stunning Massey and Ataturk memorials and the picturesque Eastern and Southern Bays. Upon returning to the city you will ride the famous Cable Car and take a behind the scenes look at how the Cable Car works. You will then visit the magnificent Lady Norwood Rose Gardens at the Botanical Gardens (when in bloom), the iconic buildings of the Parliamentary precinct and Old St Pauls Cathedral. Your tour includes refreshments, lunch and entry fees.
