This tour is available on Monday, Wednesday and Friday's.
Bookings can be rescheduled up to 24 hours before reservation, depending on availability. Cancellation requires 48 hours' notice to receive a full refund. PJ's may cancel, postpone or visit alternative sites due to weather conditions and/or traditional ceremonies taking place, or when PJ's determines it is unsafe to operate. In the event that PJ's cancels a tour, this will be fully refundable.
Experience the Māori culture first-hand with our unique and meaningful tours. Your Māori guide will share with you traditions of old and show you sites of spiritual and cultural significance while connecting you to people and place. Our tours are intimate and off-the-beaten track allowing you to experience the authentic side of the Māori culture. A geothermal hangi lunch is included, and we take you on a private guided tour of the Whakarewarewa Māori Living Village where you will witness a way of life nestled amongst this geothermal valley. View steaming vents, bubbling hot pools and Pōhutu Geyser, the largest geyser in the southern hemisphere! You will leave with a deeper appreciation and connection with the Māori people and culture.
