Beautiful Whaingaroa Raglan Harbour
TokaToka point, sacred Maori location, the place to stop and pray in Maori.
Raglan Wharf. Today the fish and ship building has been taken over by galleries and cafe. However the Fresh Raglan fish is delivered direct to the boat for you to enjoy while touring.
The upper harbour is a mix of farm grazing land and forest conservation areas. We generally see marine birds, stingrays and cows, however we are occasionally get lucky and the tide and weather allow us rare opportunities to see Orca feeding on the stingr
There is plenty of room to move around and take pictures, mostly just sit and relax.
Upstairs on Wahinemoe is the Raglan Bar and the best viewpoint for the sunset. We are blessed with geography where sun sets across the Tasman sea and is perfectly aligned with the harbour mouth where stay in the safe confines of the calmer waters.

Raglan is an historic fishing village that morphed into a surfing mecca in the 60s & in the 2000s grew in its art, music and food culture. Best viewed from the water our boat Wahinemoe (sleeping lady) has been serving tourists for 12 years.

The Wahinemoe is surveyed for 70 guests but for your comfort and enjoyment we limit this to 50 people for our public cruises. It has wheel chair access, and a fully licensed bar that is reasonably priced (cash, credit card or Eftpos available).
Bookings that are cancelled 48 hours prior to departure the option to reschedule will be given or a refund. Bookings cancelled 48-24 hours prior to departure, no refund will be issued however the booking may be rescheduled for another time. No refunds or reschedule are available to bookings cancelled 24 hours prior to departure.
Raglan Boat Charters is located at the Raglan Wharf on Whaingaroa Harbour, the West Coast of New Zealand's North Island, 40 km's from Hamilton and approx 150kms from Auckland, Tauranga and Rotorua.
