Suitable for all fitness levels however being partly off-road our tracks can be bumpy so please advise us if you are pregnant or have any lower back issues.
Cancellation fee of 100% is charged if cancelled 1 day or less before the event (some exceptions may apply) Cancellation fee of 0% is charged if cancelled before 24 hours of the event. If we have to cancel the tour due to weather or any other factor, we will provide a suitable alternative or provide a 100% refund.
Travel Mt Aspiring Road alongside Lake Wānaka offering spectacular views of iconic Mt Aspiring- Tititea (3033m). Entering the glacial carved Mātukituki Valley follow the gin-clear Mātukituki River set to the backdrop of towering snow-capped peaks of Mt Aspiring National Park. Pass huge farms of Red Deer, Angus Cattle and roaming sheep providing spectacular photo opportunities. Learn about the forces of nature that continue to shape this jaw-dropping landscape. Enjoy a leisurely walk to Wishbone Falls (20mins return) before heading off-road onto Mt Aspiring Station to enjoy refreshments beneath the mighty Rob Roy Glacier. After refreshments an optional nature walk alongside the Mātukituki River awaits (30 mins) before returning to Wānaka.
