Waimarino Group reserves the right to cancel the tour on the day, due to weather or any safety concerns. If this is done, the tour will be postponed or a full refund will be made. If a cancellation is made at least 24hrs prior to the scheduled departure, with consultation of the Waimarino Group manager, a full refund will be made. If persons fail to arrive for departure of the tour, without notifying Waimarino Group before the stated check in time, the full balance of the tour will be held.

Learn the myths and legends of the Maori people linked to the area while you explore the quiet lake and it’s abundance of birdlife. Soon you will arrive at our secret Glowworm cave on the edge of Lake Rotoiti. Then glide across the lake to the stunning Manupirua Hot Pools, which are only accessible by water. This gives you a chance to relax with the locals in the natural geo-thermal pools while you admire the beauty of your surroundings.
