This is a guided tour, with a guide riding with the group throughout the tour. Included: Transport in minibus 7 days Ebike hire (including helmet, rear carrier bag, and bottle cage) 7 nights in twin bedroom / shared bathroom 7x breakfast, 6x picnic lunch, 7x dinner, snacks Welcome drink Curling session at the Maniototo indoor rink in Naseby Entry to Hayes Engineering Works All transfers from/to cycle tracks All access and concession fees Professional female guide and a support driver.
Changes to bookings can be made up to 90 days before departure and are subject to a NZ$300 processing fee. Possible changes include changing to the same tour on a different date or changing to a different tour or transferring the booking to another person. Changes are only possible to published tour dates and for tours within the next 12 months. Changes made later than 90 days prior to departure are treated as cancellations. Each day brings something different. You'll cycle through the high country towards Lake Pukaki, ride through the remote Ahuriri Valley, explore the gold-mining ghost town of St Bathans, cross the historic Danseys Pass, and finish with a classic section of the Alps to Ocean trail. Along the way there's curling in Naseby, a visit to a historic engineering place, vast open skies, and some truly special places to stay. It's a tour that gets under the skin of the South Island - its landscape, its history, and its quiet back-country character. 8 days, from/to Christchurch, moderate cycling tour, Ebikes included.
