Cancellation / Refund Policy Cancellation within 30 days of arrival date: 25% forfeit of the total booking price. Cancellation within 14 days of arrival date: 100% forfeit of the total booking price. We strongly encourage guests to take out comprehensive travel insurance to cover cancellations or no-shows resulting from unforeseen events or illness that may disrupt travel plans. This policy does not affect guests’ rights under New Zealand law.
Nestled on the peaceful, fishermen’s side of Tūrangi, with the Tongariro River on our backdoor step, the Olive Rabbit is the perfect location for the many outdoor adventure activities offered in the Tūrangi area. Enjoy a fishing trip, skiing, horse trekking, mountain biking, white-water rafting, and hiking the many tracks, including the Tongariro Alpine Crossing. A spa, set in some native bush, is also available for guest use. Additionally, Tūrangi is an ideal stopover for holiday makers, bridal parties, packaged weekends and team building stays. If you want to go further afield, Taupō is only 35 minutes away where a lake cruise could also be in your itinerary. We are not child-friendly nor pet-friendly but please enquire.
