Minimum and maximum numbers apply. Pre-booking essential. 50% deposit required to confirm reservation. Half day treks unavailable when running a multi-day trek. Priority given to in-house guests for guided activities. Last minute availability is highly unlikely.
Cancellation 7 days or less forfeits deposit. All our activities go ahead in wet weather, we may adjust to suit the conditions with the exception of river activities. No charge for the cancellation of river activities due to weather or river conditions.
To make the most of your time at Blue Duck Station, we offer a wide range of outdoor activities. We have acres of tracked land superb for horse trekking. The scenery varies from native bush canopy to rivers and streams, ridge top tracks and mountain views. Our half day treks are around 3 hours and suitable for riders of all abilities ages 12 and over, under 90kgs. Multi-day treks are suited to experienced riders only. You can bring your own hill fit, well behaved horse or you can ride one of our experienced trekking horses. Both multi-day treks include all meals and a scenic jet boat tour on the Whanganui river as well as a variety of tracks and scenery. The Decadent Trek also includes the overnight at experience at The Chef's Table.
