The Kepler Track is one of New Zealand’s Great Walks. It is a well-formed track and is easy to follow. It takes 4 days/ 3 nights to complete the whole track which is a total of 60km. Fiordland Helicopters can help you see all that the Kepler has to offer without walking the 60km hike. Enjoy a short flight over Lake Te Anau before landing at Luxmore Hut on the Kepler Track. Hiking from Luxmore Hut to Brod Bay is 8.2km long. Take in the incredible views on the open tops before walking 45 mins to reach the bushline. From here is a steep downhill climb past towering limestone bluffs and then through mountain and silver beech forest. A water taxi can pick you up at Brod Bay back to Te Anau township or you can continue walking around the lake.
