Jessie and Ray Haanen farm alpacas on their 12 acre property on the outskirts of Lake Manapouri, Fiordland. They will take you onto the farm and into various paddocks so you can meet and mingle with the alpacas. Hand feed alpacas and learn about how they are farmed in New Zealand and the qualities of their fleece and much more. There are plenty of photo opportunities with the alpacas. Tour time is 1 hour with up to 45 minutes with the alpacas followed by a visit to Wild Wool Gallery where you can view products made from Alpaca Fibre and see and touch processed Alpaca Fibre.
