General Admission Fee
Minimum age: 7 years unless by prior arrangement. Maximum of 10 people on the tour. Availability: Monday to Friday – bookings must be made on the previous day. Saturday and Sunday – no bookings necessary.

An affordable add-on to get the most out of your visit to Ngā Manu Nature Reserve. Join our knowledgeable staff on their morning feeding round of our captive species. As you make your way through a selection of bird enclosures and our Kiwi Nocturnal House you will learn about our conservation effort as well as the personalities of the animals we care for – kiwi, kākāriki, kāka, kea, tūī, scaup, kererū, weka, and whio, along with tuatara and our native lizards. There are many opportunities for close encounters and photos.
