Our 4 Day Northland Heritage small group tour departs Auckland first Monday of every month introducing travellers to the best of our scenery in the most historic area of New Zealand. It is comprehensive and relaxed with knowledgeable driver/guide. Visit the amazing Matakohe Kauri and early Settlers Museum, Waipoua Forest and giant, Tane Mahuta, kauri tree reputed to be 2,000 years old. Rawene, Waimate Mission Station, Paihia, Keri Keri, and Russell. Visit Waitangi where the Treaty of Waitangi was signed on the 6th February, 1840. Enjoy a 4.5 hour cruise of the Bay of Islands including Otehei Bay and return to Auckland via Ruapekapeka, Whangarei and the Hundertwasser Art centre. Optional tour by special bus to Cape Reinga.
