Private four-day, three-night grand traverse from Queenstown to Marlborough. Day one: Lakes Wānaka and Hāwea and the Haast Pass to the glacier coast. Day two: the rainforest coast and Hokitika. Day three: the alpine passes to Kaikōura. Day four: to Marlborough wine country. Your own driver-guide, vehicle and hotel pickup and drop-off included. Optional Kaikōura whale watch and glacier flights on enquiry. Accommodation and meals not included; arranged on request.
For multi-day tours, cancellations with more than 30 days' notice are fully refundable less any non-recoverable supplier costs. Between 30 and 14 days a 50% fee applies; within 14 days the tour is non-refundable. If we cancel for weather or operational reasons you receive a refund or reschedule for the affected portion. We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance.
See the very best of the South Island on a private four-day grand traverse from Queenstown to Marlborough, exclusively for your group. Your guide collects you from your hotel, so no one needs to drive. Day one travels past Lakes Wānaka and Hāwea and climbs the Haast Pass, a World Heritage area, to the glacier country and Fox and Franz Josef. Day two follows the rainforest coast north past Hokitika. Day three crosses the alpine passes to Kaikōura, with an optional whale watch and the fur seal colonies. Day four follows the coast to the vineyards of Marlborough. Includes complimentary hotel pickup, drop-off and a premium private vehicle with your own guide; accommodation arranged to taste.
