Booking Policy: We require a current credit card number and expiry date to confirm your reservation. If no credit card number is available we require a deposit to the value of one night's accommodation to be sent to us prior to arrival or direct credited to our bank account. We do not 'hold' rooms tentatively pending confirmation.
Winter Cancellation Policy (1 July - 31 October): 1 Nights tariff for each booked room if canceled less than 5 days prior to arrival. No refunds for early departure. Summer Cancellation Policy (1 November - 30 June): 1 Nights tariff for each room booked if cancelled less than 48 hours prior to arrival. NO refund for early departure.
The Peaks Motor Inn is conveniently located close to Ohakune’s fine restaurants, bars and cafes, on the road leading to Ohakune Mountain Road which enters Tongariro National Park at the base of Mt Ruapehu. The Peaks features a choice of 23 secure, modern, quiet, specious and warm studio units (sleep 1-3 people), king studios (2 people) and one-bedroom units (sleep 1-4 people). All units have ensuite and kitchen facility, 'Sky Guest Select 50+' on LCD TVs and on-site free parking
Guest facilities include outdoor spa pools, free Wi-Fi, gym, guest laundry, drying room, bike storage and conference room.
Ohakune Mountain road is the gateway to Tongariro National Park and Turoa Ski fields. North Islands only glacier.
