Departing from the Tauranga Port Gates, this scenic history and flavours tour travels past Mount Maunganui and Mount Main Beach before exploring the Port of Tauranga and Tauranga’s historic landmarks. Visit The Elms Mission House, Monmouth Redoubt, and Robbins Park to discover early Māori-European history and the story of the Battle of Gate Pā. The tour continues to Te Puna for tea tastings at Webster’s Tea, followed by a visit to a kiwifruit orchard to learn about New Zealand’s famous horticulture industry while sampling local produce. The day concludes at Minden Lookout with panoramic views across Tauranga Harbour and the Bay of Plenty coastline.
